Faulty Cartridges

Faulty Cartridge Replacement Process

At Cartridge Specialists, we aim to resolve faulty cartridge issues quickly and with minimal inconvenience.

In most cases, faulty cartridges do not need to be returned, provided we can verify the batch number.

Step 1 – Keep the Cartridge

Please keep the faulty cartridge for at least 7 days after receiving your replacement.

In rare cases, we may need the cartridge returned for inspection.
If you have not heard from us within 7 days of receiving the replacement, you may safely dispose of the faulty cartridge.

Step 2 – Locate the Batch Number

Each cartridge has a Batch Number, which appears:

  • On the cartridge itself (not the box)

  • Usually as a small white sticker with letters and numbers

  • Sometimes printed directly on the cartridge body

Please look carefully — the batch number is never on the packaging.

Step 3 – Send Us a Photo

Please take a clear photo of the batch number and SMS it to:

? 0400 376 017

Include the following details:

  • Your full name

  • Order number

  • Cartridge model and colour

  • Product code (if available)

Providing complete details helps us process your replacement faster.

What Happens Next?

Once we receive and verify the batch number, we will arrange a replacement where applicable.

In most cases, this allows us to resolve the issue without return postage or delays.

Why We Use This Process

This approach allows us to:

  • Replace faulty cartridges faster

  • Reduce unnecessary returns

  • Keep costs down

  • Provide better overall service
